Carmina, 2 years

Carmina is a beautiful galgo girl, barely 2 years old, who has recently arrived safely in our care.

She was surrendered by her owner, a hunter, most likely because she no longer met the harsh expectations of competition. The tattoo in her ear tells the story of a life connected to racing — a life where performance mattered more than her wellbeing.

Thanks to the collaboration with Friends of Mazarrón Animals, Carmina was spared an even harsher fate as a breeding dog and was brought safely to the rescue centre. We are also very grateful to Team Rainbow — Fred and Trevor — for helping bring Carmina to safety.

Carmina is now beginning a new chapter. From this moment on, she will be given the safety, care, love, and respect every animal deserves. She is still settling in, and we will continue to learn more about her personality as she starts to feel safe.

This sweet girl deserves a future filled with warmth and kindness. Carmina is looking for a patient, loving home where she will be valued not for what she can do, but simply for who she is.
