Some dogs start their lives with bad luck, and thankfully, some are given a second chance.

Chico is a beautiful 13-month-old male Galgo from Badajoz, a place where, sadly, so many hunting dogs are still neglected and mistreated. But Chico was lucky. He came to Galgos Rescue Almeria, where he found safety, care, friends and, most importantly, the chance to simply be a young dog again.

Now Chico is ready to pack his little suitcase and start a brand-new chapter.

Chico's Personality

Chico is a happy, playful and social boy. He is not fearful or anxious and feels completely comfortable in a large pack. He gets along very well with both male and female dogs.

He is still young and has plenty to learn, but with love, patience and the right guidance, he can grow into the wonderful companion we know is inside him.

What We Wish For Him

We would love to see Chico enjoy a life filled with beautiful walks, playtime, cosy beds, happy moments and lots of love, a life where he can finally discover how special it feels to truly belong somewhere.
