Junco, 3 years

Junco is a 3-year-old boy from the Granada region who has recently arrived at Galgos Rescue Almería.

He came to the rescue centre together with six other dogs, all beginning a new chapter and hoping for a better future. For Junco, this means leaving his life as a hunting dog behind and slowly learning that he is finally safe.

Junco is still finding his feet in this new world. The team is giving him kindness, patience, and gentle reassurance, but trust is not easy for him yet. He feels comfortable around other dogs and takes confidence from their presence, but with people he is still cautious and prefers to observe from a distance.

He will need a calm, understanding home with adopters who will not rush him. Junco needs time, patience, and a gentle approach to help him discover that life no longer has to be filled with fear, pressure, or uncertainty.

Despite his worries, Junco is still young and has so much hope ahead of him. With the right family, he can slowly grow in confidence and begin to enjoy the peaceful, loving life he deserves.
