Meet Mia

Mia is a beautiful young Galgo, approximately 1 year old, with her whole life ahead of her.

She was adopted as a puppy, but sadly very little is known about her early past. As she grew, Mia became the energetic, playful, and curious young dog she is today. Like all young dogs, she needs exercise, structure, training, and mental stimulation to help her thrive.

Unfortunately, her previous owners were no longer able to give her the time, care, and attention she needed. They made the difficult decision to ask for help, so Mia could have the chance to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.

Mia is doing very well at the rescue. She is social with the other dogs and enjoys their company. With people, she can be a little reserved at first, but she does not seem fearful. She simply needs a little time to build trust, feel comfortable, and show her playful personality.

For Mia, we are looking for an active owner or energetic family who can offer her the guidance, exercise, patience, and love she needs. A home with another young, playful dog would be a wonderful bonus, as Mia enjoys canine companionship.

Mia still has lots to learn, but with kind and consistent guidance, she has everything she needs to grow into a confident and happy companion.
